On 11-23-07 I by mistake made a payment of $11,857.29 instead of my credit card *********** balance of $1857.29.
It is 12-10-2007, 10:43 AM CST yet to receive the over payment.
11-25-07 at 8:17PM CST Ms. Erin took my 1st call and promised to get this issue resolved by sending me the credit balance right back in 2 to 3 days.
To date I have not received my money back. I have made numerous calls to Chase customer service 800-436-7927 and why my money has not been returned back?

Written by Donald A on January 3, 2009 from quezon city, manila, PH As a part of the government bailout, the banks that got emergency cash don’t have to follow the same rules as people who have to get payday loans. People are held accountable for paying off their loans unlike banks who do not have to pay the money back, or even be accountable for it. The banks and other companies that got generous portions of taxpayers’ money are popping up all over the place in reports that they are either unable or unwilling to report just how exactly they have been spending that money. (My guess is the latter.) If a regular person needs some emergency funds, and gets a payday loan, they have be accountable for it and pay it back, whereas the Wall Street types evidently don’t. Maybe in the future the government should look to payday loan companies as a guideline for how to hand out emergency cash. |

Written by Patrick on September 25, 2008 from chicago, illinois, US a credit balance refund takes anywhere from 10 to 14 days if under 2000.00 and possibly over a month if over. this is not the banks fault, this is a result of the USA PATRIOT act. basically to prevent money laundering chase has to have an analyst review any credit balance refund over 2000 to prevent money laundering. chase has a payment research department that should have handled it but that is no guarantee that your credit refund would be expedited |
